The Department offers services like Daily OPD nutrition clinic, Nutrition in Pregnancy & Lactation, Diabetes Education Program, Paediatric Nutrition Program. For the indoor patient care diet plan is made at the time of admission also dietitians visit daily all cases in wards, critical areas, HDUs, make nutritional assessment of all patients and carryout modifications, if any in the diet according to his/her age and medical condition and therapeutic requirements. They help the patients to understand the nature of disease, and the dietary aspects of its management. The canteen for patient food is licensed with Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI ).
